Summary
The 94th monthly online meetup run by Mozilla Japan's translation community. Participants work together to translate the Japanese edition of MDN Web Docs, the developer documentation for the open web. Following MDN's system migration, the translation workflow has moved from a Wiki to a process built around GitHub pull requests, and members who can answer questions about the new flow will be present. The session runs on a Saturday afternoon so there is plenty of time to finish articles carefully. The day is coordinated mainly over Slack. At 13:00 everyone greets and starts work, then translates until 17:00 with reports and questions shared along the way. Around 15:00 there is a midpoint check-in over Google Meet. People experienced with MDN translation can sign up as tutors to support newcomers. Beginners and those not confident in English are welcome, with help on how to get started and how to use GitHub. It suits anyone interested in new web technologies and web standards, looking to sharpen translation skills, or wanting to get more active in OSS community work. A PC capable of translation work is required.
About the community

A monthly gathering where the community collaborates to translate documentation on new web technologies and web standards into Japanese. The workflow is built around GitHub pull requests, and beginners and experienced tutors alike work side by side over Slack. It is a recurring event that now runs online rather than at a physical venue.
