Summary
The 90th TSUKUBA CONNÉCT is a special edition, HITACHI IGNITE 2026, held at the Hitachi District Industrial Support Center in Hitachi City, Ibaraki. Under the theme "technology that teams up, changing workplaces, emerging industries", it looks at how manufacturers, startups and universities in northern Ibaraki, a major manufacturing cluster, are collaborating to build new industries.
Sessions cover cross-company and overseas collaboration cases from manufacturers in northern Ibaraki and Ota City, co-creation stories from manufacturers and startups that partnered after matching, and Ibaraki University's plans for SAKURA BLOOM PARK, a co-creation hub due to be completed in February 2027.
The day also includes exhibits, a ride on the Hitachi BRT autonomous bus, a casual science talk with a science communicator, and networking. Online participation is available.
