World-Class Video-Generation AI: Visualize Your Future Self in a 15-Second Ad | HappyHorse Hackathon

A hackathon where participants use Alibaba Cloud's video-generation AI model HappyHorse to turn their career (past, present, future) and future dreams into a 15-second cinematic ad, a video vision board. Attendees get early hands-on access to the brand-new Happy Horse 1.5 model on Model Studio, which launched on June 22. The day opens with a lecture on career assets in the AI era, followed by a HappyHorse hands-on lecture and two hack phases: articulating your past, present, and future, then generating the video. Career mentors and technical mentors circulate among the tables to help, and no prior AI skill is required. Finished pieces are posted to X with #HappyHorse, and the top works share a prize pool of 50,000 yen. The event is organized by SCYLOG Inc. and co-hosted by the MeltingPot association (MeltingHack), with Alibaba Cloud Japan Service as special sponsor and content provider. A networking session follows, offering contact with engineers, creators, and business professionals in their 20s to 40s as well as experts working at the frontier of AI. Attendees must create an Alibaba Cloud account in advance and bring a credit card (same-day AI usage is fully refunded later).
