Japanese-Hungarian Biotech Business Seminar

The Embassy of Hungary in Tokyo hosts a business seminar on Hungarian and Japanese biotech collaboration, held on the sidelines of BioJapan 2026, Regenerative Medicine JAPAN 2026 and healthTECH JAPAN 2026. The afternoon brings Hungarian biotech startups together with Japanese corporate leaders, venture capitalists and ecosystem partners to discuss technology transfer, cluster agreements and market entry in both directions. The programme opens with registration at 15:30 and keynote remarks from the Embassy and Japanese officials at 16:00. From 16:30 Hungarian companies present their life sciences and biotechnology work, followed by a session on doing business in Hungary and on using the country as a launchpad into the wider European Union market. The final block, from 18:00 to 20:00, is given over to one-on-one B2B matchmaking, cluster cooperation talks and a networking reception with Hungarian food and drinks. The seminar is aimed at biotech, pharmaceutical and healthcare executives, VC and CVC investors, accelerators and economic development agencies, university researchers and tech transfer officers, and Japanese startups weighing European expansion. In-person attendance requires membership registration at the Marunouchi venue, including installing its app and showing the QR code on entry.
