Summary
An intermediate 3D CAD workshop at TIB FAB. Using Autodesk Fusion, participants design the enclosure for an infrared distance meter. With FDM 3D printing in mind, it covers enclosure design fundamentals, assembling parts in CAD, and design tips for parts that will be 3D printed.
The session focuses on CAD design work and does not use a 3D printer. Beginners are advised to take the beginner 3D printing course first. Bring a laptop with the Autodesk Fusion trial installed and a mouse. Held at Tokyo Innovation Base 2F TIB FAB, free, capacity 6, ages 15 and up. Also suited to people aiming to start a hardware business.
